Cabin life blogs are few and far between. There are plenty of websites with descriptions of how to build a cabin, where to rent a cabin, and inspirational cabin photos; but there are few blogs that chronicle what real, daily cabin life is like.

Before we moved to our cabin, I scoured the internet for cabin resources. I was curious what living in a cabin year-round was really like. What could we expect in winter? What if we got cabin fever? What kind of gear did we need? Are cabins high-maintenance compared to regular homes? So many questions!
